By engaging Standard Form or utilizing our digital systems, you agree to the following terms. These conditions are designed to protect the integrity of the work and ensure a high-functioning partnership.

1. The Commercial Agreement (Scope)

Every project is anchored in commercial reality. Before work begins, we define a precise architectural blueprint—including deliverables, timelines, and investment.

• Venture Architecture: We design for viability and unit economics, not just aesthetics.

• Scope Adjustments: Any tasks falling outside the original agreed-upon blueprint will be treated as "Applied Assets" or "Design Extensions" and quoted as a separate line item.

2. Asset Funding & Payment

We operate on a phased funding model to maintain project momentum and studio margins.

• The 50/25/25 Structure: 50% of the total investment is required for Project Activation (Deposit); 25% is due at the mid-point milestone; the final 25% is due upon project completion (Handoff).

• Final Delivery: All final assets, live environments, and documentation are transferred only after the final balance is settled in full.

• Late Payments: Payments delayed by more than 7 days will result in an immediate project suspension.

3. The Content Protocol

A system is only as strong as the inputs provided. We audit all client-provided photography and copy before production begins.

• Grade B Content: If provided assets require significant curation or editing to meet our design standards, a 15% Refinery Surcharge will be applied to the phase.

• Grade C Rejection: We reserve the right to reject assets that act as a technical or visual liability to the final system.

4. Operating Rhythm (The Method)

We reject the "always-on" agency model to prioritize deep work and systemic precision.

• Async-Heavy: Our primary communication happens within the Notion Client Hub, via Loom, or through email.

• Call-Light: We limit projects to 3–4 high-value strategy calls. We do not participate in daily standups or unnecessary workshops.

• Silence Clause: If a client is unresponsive for more than 14 days, the project is paused and a re-entry fee may be required to secure a new slot in our production queue.

5. System Ownership & The Ghost Protocol

Upon receipt of the final payment, you own the P&L assets we have built (Brand Identity, Digital Systems, and Documentation).

• Portfolio Rights: Standard Form reserves the right to showcase the work in case studies and digital channels unless a non-disclosure agreement is executed prior to the start date.

• The Ghost Protocol: We reserve the right to remove the "Site by Standard Form" credit from the footer if the final deployed content (images/copy) deviates significantly from the original design standards provided at handoff.

6. Technical Architecture

We build for agility and longevity using modern, no-code infrastructure.

• Platform Focus: We specialize in Framer (Marketing) and Shopify (Commerce). We do not provide custom code or Liquid development.

• Technical Debt: Our systems are designed to be managed by your internal team. We are not liable for the technical failures, updates, or uptime of third-party platforms.

7. Post-Project Care

Every core project includes 30 days of complimentary technical support to ensure a smooth transition.

• Adaptive Support: Ongoing maintenance or design iterations beyond the 30-day window are handled via a separate support agreement or quarterly commitment.

• SLA: Non-emergency support requests are typically addressed within 48 hours on business days.

8. Cancellations & Liability

You may cancel a project at any time. In such cases, you will be invoiced for the work completed up to that date. We are not liable for indirect damages or how the final work is utilized once handed over to your team. We deliver all work in good faith and according to professional design and systems architecture standards.
